I am an outgoing and adventurous female who understands the value of cultivating and fostering long-lasting relationships. My experiences in the non-profit and for-profit worlds, both professionally and personally, have taught me to steer a business to success through proper financial planning, excellent customer service, and successful account management. While I consider myself a lifelong learner, I anticipate finishing my BS in Marketing Management the summer of 2020, and am looking to secure a position to use and further develop my skills and knowledge in the non-profit sector.
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Recruits and hires diverse staff and volunteer teams across multiple dimensions of diversity. Onboards and develops them for success. Conducts lifeguarding, swim instruction, First Aid and CPR trainings. Ensures records of staff certifications are current and complete.
Ensures programs and services meet community needs to include supervising existing program activities, establishing new program activities, and expanding the program within the community as needed. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.
Monitors daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations and conducts and ensures proper maintenance of pools. Maintains accurate records of pool chemical levels and facility maintenance.
Develops, produces and distributes program information necessary to promote programs, in accordance with membership and marketing plans.
Plans and coordinates special events.
Responsible for actively supporting the fundraising and communications activities of the Brainerd Family YMCA. Research public and private grant sources to identify sources of restricted and unrestricted funding. Work with program staff to develop funding related projects. Organize individual donor campaign (annual fund drive).
Provide communications, Marketing and Public Relations support to program staff to maintain YUSA brand compliance and consistent messaging.
Provide IT support and training to staff, improve IT infrastructure and planning organizationally.
