Position Description: Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), the Advancement Data Analyst is responsible for database support and analysis for all advancement and communication initiatives of Harmony Project. The Advancement Data Analyst is part of a high-performing team that together, implements a comprehensive advancement program of identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, major and planned gift donors and prospects for funds needed to support The Harmony Project’s mission. The Advancement Data Analyst’s primary responsibilities are related to The Harmony Project’s donor management system, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and NXT. Duties Include: · Data Management – Enter and track all key fundraising and donor information, maintain records and dashboards in Raiser’s Edge. · Performance Management – will work with executive staff to use data to inform and improve advancement efforts and initiatives, as well as develop specific measures for strategic performance management. · Internal Auditing – quarterly audits of the NXT database to ensure data accuracy. · Data Analysis – Perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis of donor data in order to give executive leadership vital information on what is and is not working. · External Reporting – Produce various data reports as needed. · Research – updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading relevant professional publications, in order to keep The Harmony Project in the vanguard of innovative and effective practices. · Attention to detail is paramount to this role. · Engage in special projects as assigned and serve as general support as needed. The ideal candidate will: · Demonstrate proficiency in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, as well as Microsoft Office. · Willingness to take a proactive approach to current procedures and consider changes for increased efficiency. · Simultaneously manage projects with varying timelines and deadlines. · Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and strong process orientation. · Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. · Exhibit initiative. · Multitask and adapt to quickly evolving situations yet pay close attention to detail. · Succeed working both individually and as part of a team.
