Mission driven non-profit community developer and affordable home builder seeks experienced technical Grant Writer to research and write grant proposals for submission to potential funding sources. As a member of the Development Team, the successful candidate will: Conduct a full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to government, corporate, local, and national foundations Identify and research corporate, foundation, and governmental sources of funding, including proposal requirements and submission deadlines Cultivate new relationships, as well as maintain and manage ongoing relationships with major funders and account representatives as assigned Compile information necessary to produce reports for funders Comply with all grant reporting as required by donors Maintain current records in database including grant tracking and all reporting requirements Track statistics relevant to provide written materials necessary for donor stewardship Assist with other fundraising projects as requested Salary $50,000 – 60,000 + benefits. Email resume with cover letter , and one writing sample to email@example.com Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Business, or other relevant field Knowledge of non-profit housing preferred Minimum 3-5 years in grant writing experience, and experience with fundraising techniques and strategies Excellent writing, technology, and research skills required. Strong written communication skills, ability to write clear, articulate, and persuasive proposals Meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
