Job Description

Volunteer Intern - Communications
Children's Hunger Fund is an evangelical Christian non-profit religious organization founded in 1991. The mission of CHF is to deliver hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry. This is a volunteer (unpaid) internship in the Communications Department with CHF.
Schedule: Typically 10-20 hours/week; generally scheduled between 8am-5pm, M-F
  • Develop/assemble various marketing collateral packages for internal and/or external use
  • Transcription of interviews with domestic and international partners
  • Photo tagging
  • Participate in preparation and execution (where possible) for promotional marketing events
  • Data entry projects and document editing/proofreading
  • Printing, scanning, copying documents
  • Other marketing-related projects
  • Confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; active membership in an evangelical Christian local church is preferred
  • Ability to work successfully with changing priorities
  • Strong computer skills, particularly use of Internet, Social Media, Email, Data Entry
  • Ability to organize files/boxes
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to use basic office equipment such as copier/fax machine/scanner
