AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking an IT Project Manager to work on a regular, fulltime basis.  This great opportunity is to join our Information Technology Department located in the city of Los Angeles, California.  The hours are Monday- Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.  AHF offers a competitive hourly rate, DOE plus great benefits and an amazing work environment!

The IT Project Manager contributes to AHF’s mission by delivering quality IT related product and/or service, while staying within the predefined budget and timeframe. The end product or service will ultimately enhance the productivity and efficiency of patient care.

 

The IT Project Manager works with various departments at AHF, vendors and business teams, on a daily basis. It is significant for the IT Project Manager to maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. The IT project manager follows Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies to manage projects and identify top priorities, track and measure performance,  overcome challenges, address unanticipated risks as they arise and achieve higher performance and success.

 

The IT Project Manager develops a detailed project plan, maintains comprehensive project documentation, uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, reports and escalates to management/PMO as needed. The IT project Manager coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. The IT Project Manager develops a detailed project plan, maintains comprehensive project documentation, uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, reports and escalates to management/PMO as needed.
