Founded in 1992, MMP is fueling the movement to support empowering youth-adult relationships throughout Massachusetts. The organization’s vision is that every young person has the opportunity to be involved in empowering youth-adult relationships to create more vibrant and resilient communities. Headquartered in Boston and with a regional office in Holyoke, MMP serves a network of more than 250 mentoring and youth development programs statewide, supporting more than 33,000 youth in mentoring relationships.

The Ideal Candidate
The next President and Chief Executive Officer of MMP will be passionate and mission-driven, an outstanding communicator and a proven leader who is able to inspire and work effectively with staff, board members and multiple stakeholders. In addition to the strategic and operational acumen required of every nonprofit leader, this position requires the President and Chief Executive Officer to be a hands-on operational manager as well as fundraiser, community face of the organization, and relationship builder.
Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent work and life experience will be considered; Master’s degree preferred.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible nonprofit senior leadership or management experience is sought, within either a high-performing direct service program, or intermediary nonprofit organization.
