THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.
As a research and action organization, Center for Policing Equity (CPE) produces analyses identifying and reducing the causes of racial disparities in public safety. Using data-driven approaches to social justice, we use science to create levers for social, cultural, and policy change.
We are research scientists, race and equality experts, law enforcement professionals, data virtuosos, using data as tools to build more fair and just systems.
It is critical that we begin with strong law enforcement partnerships. The next step brings in stakeholders to work backwards to identify systems and practices that produce inequity. Then we allow the data to guide us.
