•Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications campaign to support audience development for Music
•Develop and implement marketing communications programs to support brand and sales goals for Music Center restaurants on The Music Center Plaza.
•Manage and coordinate both digital and traditional advertising support for these programs; including creative development and media planning/buying, media sponsorships and trade opportunities, promotional support via promotional partnerships and grassroots programs, and collateral generation to include copy writing, design input and oversight.
•Coordinate collateral production including work with external graphic design team and printers.
•Manage marketing budgets and negotiate with vendors to achieve goals with the greatest efficiency and effectiveness for the dollars invested.
•Closely coordinate with both Marketing and Communications team members and external consultants, as appropriate, to address brand and sales goals.
•Support Marketing and Communications team members in the development of The Music Center’s institutional brand.
•Collaborate with TMC Arts project managers/producers, as well as Advancement team members, to ensure the needs of all internal and external stakeholders are addressed.
•Work closely with The Music Center’s foodservice operations partner to manage the Plaza restaurant brands.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
•Minimum 5 years professional experience in marketing, including
•Thorough understanding of traditional and emerging media and experience working with social media.
•Strong project management skills and ability to
•Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present information in a variety of formats.
•Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills.
•Ability to manage budgets.
•Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to interact effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and colleagues.
•A passionate, energetic
•Strong interest in the performing arts.
•Experience working in customer service fields a plus.
•Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
•Experience using a personal computer and with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint) along with Adobe and design software, e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
•Restaurant marketing and communications experience.
