Job Description

The People Operations Associate will build upon and execute a strategy to promote an innovative, high performing and supportive culture that aligns with the strategic priorities of the organization. You will improve the ways by which we support staff, including through professional development, staff appreciation and core people processes. Like other members of the People Operations team you will also help us recruit, hire, develop and retain a diverse group of exceptional people to support our life-saving work.

What you’ll do:  

  • Create and roll-out initiatives to ensure that The Trevor Project has an inspiring, high-performance culture that develops and retains the world’s top talent 
  • Build and execute a robust professional development strategy 
  • Collaborate with other members of the People team to continually improve and deliver a high quality onboarding to new hires to set them up for success 
  • Support in developing and coordinating The Trevor Project’s intern program 
  • Develop programs that foster a diverse and inclusive culture alongside the Director of People Operations
  • Clearly articulate to external audiences Trevor’s mission, the work that we do, and the opportunities for amazing people to join Team Trevor 
  • Support full-cycle recruitment for roles within the organization, including sourcing top talent, coordinating and conducting resume screens, scheduling and conducting phone interviews, and organizing in-person interviews 
  • Analyze and use data and metrics to inform decisions that affect the organization
