Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced  Associate Director, Prospect Management  with excellent customer service and communication skills to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters.  Responsible for the design and oversight of the prospect management strategy of donors to Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. Responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive program to assist in qualifying and researching prospects and donors in both the Annual Fund and the $50m Beyond… Campaign. Devise and manage a comprehensive donor prospect research and management program, including but not limited to: wealth screening, data mining, gift officer productivity, portfolio audit/balancing, pipeline management, and other methodologies. This position oversees the Manager, Prospect Research.   Over one hundred years ago, Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that everyone should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams. At PPLA, you will discover a culture of like-minded individuals who are eager to make positive contributions to their community and to the Planned Parenthood mission.   Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in prospect research and constituent relationship management within a nonprofit organization required A minimum of two (2) years managing staff required Strong computer and constituent management skills including proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel), Raiser’s Edge (or similar database), Research Point, Wealth Engine, and Lexis Nexis Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed   About the position: Oversee research of all prospects and current donors including Planned Parenthood Online Giving Portal donors Oversee assignment of prospects and donors to fundraiser portfolios and monitor related qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities Create and manage a system of fundraiser portfolio hygiene, metrics, and measurables Manage all donor wealth screening activities for the donor database and prospect pool Oversee creation of all event prep memos and in depth donor research profiles Manage database mining to discover and identify new prospective donors Establish guidelines and policies for accurate and ethical management of donor and prospect information Collaborate with frontline fundraisers and Development staff in creating of prospect cultivation strategies Work with VP of Development, Director of Development - Annual Giving, Director of Development - Special Events and Director of Development - Major and Campaign Giving to bolster fundraising in each area by providing research and strong leads for potential donors Work with VP of Development and Annual Giving database staff to devise database enhancements, process improvements, and enhanced techniques Work with Major and Campaign Giving team to properly identify strong Beyond… Campaign prospects to ensure prospects are properly moving through the pipeline Provide support in creating cultivation strategy and prospect management for the Beyond… Campaign Manage Prospect Research staff and set priorities to achieve Development Department goals   Generous salary and benefits package includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage options for you and eligible dependents Free basic life/AD&D policy with additional voluntary coverage options Short Term Disability, Critical Illness and Accident policies 403(b) Retirement plan with up to 3% employer match Medical and Dependent Flexible Spending Account plans Public Transportation and Commuter Pre-Tax Reimbursements Generous vacation, sick, and holiday benefits   Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of Los Angeles County Ordinance No. 184852.
