Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Development Operations Coordinator to be a part of a tightly-knit, performance-driven, high-functioning team of development professionals in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Development Operations, the Development Operations Coordinator assists the Development Department with daily operations including data entry, reporting, donor acknowledgements, database maintenance, and gift processing. Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required Minimum two (2) years of data entry experience and office support, preferably with a fundraising or financial software program Familiarity with various aspects of fundraising is a plus Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of the Internet including but not limited to research and email communication Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to do mail merges About the position: Manage the weekly Online Gift import and reconciliation process Accurate and timely daily data entry and maintenance of fundraising database Produce prompt, appropriate and accurate donor acknowledgments. Create donor acknowledgment templates Manage the appeal upload process for all Development Department mailings Provide support to the Associate Director of Operations in database administration Manage all merge records and ensure data integrity Maintain donor gift filing system and agency gift records Interact effectively with accounting/finance department to reconcile donor/gift receipts, track department expenses, and submit invoices Maintain database systems and assist in producing daily, monthly, and annual reports as needed Maintain and update constituent records in donor database and assist with special data projects Communicate effectively and document concerns or complaints from donors/and or donor prospects Assist with online giving data and projects Interact effectively with volunteers and members of the Board of Directors Assist with the scheduling and direction of Development Department volunteers and temporary employees Generous salary and benefits package includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage options for you and eligible dependents Free basic life/AD&D policy with additional voluntary coverage options Short Term Disability, Critical Illness and Accident policies 403(b) Retirement plan with up to 3% employer match Medical and Dependent Flexible Spending Account plans Public Transportation and Commuter Pre-Tax Reimbursements Generous vacation, sick, and holiday benefits Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
