The National Council of Jewish Women | Los Angeles (NCJW|LA), founded in 1909, has been serving the needs of Los Angeles for more than 100 years and continues to be a leading voice that turns progressive ideals into action. NCJW|LA is a powerful catalyst for social change. We have consistently tackled the complex social challenges of the day while filling gaps in the social services needed within our community. Our programs support working women so they can thrive financially, physically, socially, and emotionally. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for women, children, and families and our strategic focus is to advance economic justice and equity for women.
