The Systems Administrator (SA) will participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users, application owners and department managers. The System Administrator is also responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Services (IS) department; focusing on the administration of network infrastructure including servers, desktop PC’s, mobile devices, network equipment, and software applications. The Systems Administrator will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the organization’s operations and make recommendations for implementation. The Systems Administrator is also responsible for the security of the network and monitoring of the devices connected to the networks. Assists the Information Services department with hardware and software support as needed. Qualifications:  Three (3) years server hardware/software with special emphasis on Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2. Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Services experience are a plus, as are any industry certifications. Three (3) years’ experience supporting Network and Windows Servers Infrastructure including Microsoft Exchange 2003, Windows 2003 Active Directory, Microsoft SQL 2005 Servers, Dell/EMC SAN, Enterprise Backup, TandBerg Video Conferencing and Perimeter Network Security. Four (4) plus years’ experience in a system administrator support capacity. Expert technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform operating systems including experience in enterprise-level design and implementation. Two (2) plus years’ experience with Citrix XenServer, XenDesktop and XenApp installation, configuration and deployment. Server consolidation and migration to a virtual environment. Server upgrades especially to Exchange 2010 and Active Directory 2008 R2. Hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex systems architectures. Experience with data management. Advanced knowledge of server hardware components. Must have basic scripting skills to automate Windows administrative functions desired. Must understand routing and network configuration. Firewall configuration and management experience required. Working knowledge of CommVault Galaxy Enterprise backup a plus. CCNA/Cisco Certified Network Associate, CompTIA A+ Certified, and Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS).
