The Program Receptionist will support the day-to-day “shopping” activities at Baby2Baby’s warehouse.  Baby2Baby operatesa fast-paced warehouse space using a "Shopping" model - all donations are organized by category, and partners come in to select items for their clients. Donations are tracked with a scanner system similar to a gift registry scanner. The program receptionist would also be responsible for training partners on how to use the scanners and review their order to ensure all donations have been logged out correctly.    This is a part-time, entry level position responsible for assisting with daily partner check-in, warehouse/shopping maintenance and check out.     The Program Receptionist will work Monday-Friday at Baby2Baby’s warehouse located at 5830 W. Jefferson Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016 from 9am – 2pm.     Duties and Responsibilities Facilitates Baby2Baby's partner shopping model, including greeting and checking in all partners upon arrival and checking out all partners. Ensures shopping area is prepped and ready for open shopping hours. At the close of partner shopping, ensures shopping and check in/out space is kept neat and clean. Maintains a functional shopping area for both partners and Baby2Baby staff throughout the day. Assists with various donation pick-ups & community donation drop-offs throughout the day. Accurately updates Baby2Baby partner databases as needed. Provides excellent customer service and assistance to Baby2Baby partners while shopping by answering frequently asked questions and helping locate items.  Makes recommendations for improvement of the shopping experience for partners. Collects, synthesizes, and enters data as needed. Responds to general phone inquiries and assist with community donors as needed. Additional ad hoc duties, as needed.   Required Qualifications  4 year Bachelor's Degree Required Customer service experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Suite. Ability to quickly learn new software platforms. Maintains professionalism under all circumstances with a patient and flexible demeanor. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
