JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Director of Marketing Services will develop, manage and produce a wide range of print and digital marketing materials to promote Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s community work, products, services and brand. This position manages the Marketing and Communications Associate. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the VP of Marketing and Communications, seeks out, initiates and leverages communication opportunities to market the organization. Serves as a marketing liaison across business units helping to position the organization as a thought leader and center of philanthropy in support of SVCF’s overall strategy and brand. Advocates the value of marketing to business units. Educates and evangelizes the role of marketing in overall strategy. Oversees the planning, development and implementation of marketing activities and strategic communication projects that align with overall strategic and operational plans. Develops a thorough understanding of SVCF’s businesses, brands, customers, and competitive environments. Uses this understanding to make recommendations to VP. Contributes to key communication channels and platforms, highlighting the work of SVCF’s Corporate Responsibility, Community Impact, Donor Experience & Engagement, Development, Public Policy and others. Other duties and projects as assigned.
