Job Description:

Position Objective:
To oversee PETA's youth presence online and manage the youth marketing division
 
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage youth marketing division staff members and their work
• Review peta2 & PETA Kids website and social media content with an eye for compelling content that supports our goals and campaign priorities
• Oversee PETA Kids program, including the website, social media accounts, and offline presence  (presentations, LA events, literature, etc)
• Oversee the tracking, analysis, and reporting of peta2 and PETA Kids online goals and make changes in strategy accordingly
• Manage homepage of peta2.com
• Develop and implement strategies for youth marketing efforts including social media initiatives
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
 

Job Requirements:

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience 
• Minimum of three years of youth marketing experience
• Minimum of one year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong working knowledge of complex marketing concepts and strategies
• Strong working knowledge of youth culture and social media
• Thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven exceptional analytical, organizational, and research skills
• Proven excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
• Proven strong leadership skills, strategic-thinking skills, and long-term vision
• Self-motivation and the ability to focus on both team and individual goals and objectives
• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
